Yesterday, I played on the PTR 3.1 server to take a look at the Flame Leviathan boss encounter and to find out all the fuzz about the siege vehicles event. When you zone-in into Ulduar’s Explorer’s League Formation Grounds you will notice a few known NPCs. You will find High Explorer Dellorah escorted by Kirin Tor Mages and Battle-Mages talking to a Lore Keeper of Norgannon.

This is their conversation intro:

High Explorer Dellorah: I heard a story or two of a Lore Keeper in Uldaman that fit your description. Do you serve a similar purpose?

Lore Keeper of Norgannon: Compromise of complex detected, security override enabled - query permitted. Orbital emplacements are powered by four primary generators in the Iron Concourse. Orbital emplacements will actively inhibit any entity attempting to bypass teh front gate or attempting to engage the guardian therein.

High Explorer Dellorah: Got it. Destroy the generators before battling the guardian unless you’re asking for trouble. Rhydian, make sure you let Brann and Archmage Pentarus know about those generators immediately. And you mentioned an imprisoned entity? What is the nature of this entity and what is its status?

Lore Keeper of Norgannon: Entity designate: Yogg-Saron. Security has been compromised. Prison operational status unknown. Unable to contact Watchers for notification purposes.

There are a few factions helping you to take Ulduar: The Explorer’s League, the Kirin Tor (Archmage Rhydian and Archmage Pentarus), the Gnome Engineer Weslex Quickwrench who you found in Sholazar Basin alongside Nesingwary, and hired goblins from K3 (Storm Peaks). It seems Archmage Pentarus not only sponsored Nesignwary’s expedition, he couldn’t turn down Brann Bronzebeard’s proposal to sponsor the Ulduar invasion.
